Our American Airman!

About 1 1/2 weeks ago Melany and I flew to San Antonio, Texas to see Enoch graduate from the Air Force. We were so excited to finally see our Enoch. We arrived on Wednesday night and saw him for the first time during the first event, called the Airman's Run. We saw Enoch run with his flight but getting a glimpse of him for the first time was so special. About 2 hours later we were able to see him after the Coin ceremony finished. I tapped him and then immediately embraced each other. It was a very emotional moment, specially when Melany saw her daddy for the first time.
The next day was Friday and it was time for the graduation ceremony. Enoch's flight marched on the green, grassy field as we saw big Air Force planes in the background. The whole ceremony was short and sweet but very memorable. Melany and I sat in the bleachers and immediately got up to tap Enoch once again once the ceremony ended. Over the weekend, we visited the Riverwalk in San Antonio and spend time with each other. We were sad to leave on Sunday but hopeful that we will see each other again in Monterey.
Enoch took a flight to Monterey's Defense Language Institute last Monday and has been there since. He was assigned to learn Spanish! I am happy we will finally get to communicate perfectly in my native language. What an eventful weekend!
