10 month-old Maya

Baby Maya turned 10 months. She's also been teething and is actually getting a little small tooth on the bottom, middle part of her mouth. She is also letting go more often and trying to stand on her own without holding on to anything. Maya is loving to eat chunkier foods and will eat anything. She has tried ice cream this month, and bits of steak. She still loves her spinach/apple baby food though. We also had her start wearing baby shoes since she likes to practice walking with help anywhere we go. We love her so much!

End of Spring soccer season

Melany did really well playing soccer for the first time. She scored several goals throughout the season. She would get shy during practices or bored so she only enjoyed playing on game day. Due to the rain throughout May, we had to make up two games. The last game was this Monday June 1st. Melany scored another goal. Enoch had to miss it because of his work schedule but Maya and I cheered her on. She got a medal, a Lady Bug cookie and I took her for ice cream after.

9 month-old Maya

Maya the great turned 9 months last week on Wednesday the 28th of May. She had her 9 month check-up where we got her stats. She weighs 16.5lbs, 27 1/4 inches long..which puts her 25% in weight and 50% in height. She is small in size, very light but eats a lot. She is starting to eat solids three times a day. She never stops! She crawls, she stands up and holds on but lately is wanting to stand up without holding on to anything! She is quite the daredevil! She isn't t afraid of much and has the most beautiful, contagious smile ever! She is as sweet as they come.
