2014 Family Photos Bloopers

My friend Marisa kindly took pictures of us with my camera near our home in a woodsy area. Later, we went to the Landa Library about 30 minutes from our house on the Eastside of San Antonio. I enjoyed taking Melany and Maya's pictures there,  but it was a hectic day and of course, it took many many shots to get 1 good family picture. Melany showed her personality in the blooper photos. And little Maya was not far behind with her goofy gestures and faces. As you can see, we have our hands full...no wonder my hair is falling.

It's funny though to see how crazy/funny life can be through these blooper pictures.

Melany was done with photos and refusing to look at the camera- so sassy!

November happenings

In November, Melany worked on handwriting the alphabet at home, songs at Music class, and learning the ballet routine for her upcoming recital.

I've been working on eating healthier, continuing my Dairy-free diet, and trying to get back into shape. I've been doing PIYO(Pilates/Yoga) program and catching up on some projects like sewing burp clothes for Maya, upholstering Melany/Maya's chair with a new fabric and trying new cooking recipes.

Enoch is doing Spanish training full-time in a different location than his usual job site. He is learning a lot and I am impressed how his Espanol is improving. Enoch took Melany and I to Chuck-E-Cheese as Melany had not been there since she was about 3/4 months old.

For Thanksgiving, with the girls being sick, I decided to take a break from my everyday cooking and go out for Thanksgiving. We were lucky enough to be treated to a delicious Thanksgiving lunch by the USO cooked by Budrose Restaurant near the Riverwalk. We had turkey, ham, salad, guacamole/chips, cranberry sauce, rolls and mashed potatoes. Enoch and Melany had pumpkin pie and strawberries for dessert. We had lunch with other military personnel and retired ones too. We thanked Heavenly Father for all the blessings we have.

On Nov. 30, we took family pictures. We will post those pictures later but loved how they turned out because this year, little Maya joined us for the fun.

3 month-old Maya

Our adorable Baby Maya turned 3 months on 11/28. She's been keeping me on my toes with breastfeeding and seasonal allergies. She still does not take a liking to the pacifier and gets soothed by her white noise sheep. It was a tough month for both of us due to Maya being sick with a cough and runny nose but it also has had its blessings. We saw Maya smile more and start cooing and making really good eye contact with us. Maya can keep her head up really well, is very wiggly, moving her feet up and down when held. And thankfully, she is getting the hang of sleeping through the night. Yay! It melts my heart when Maya sees her sister and immediately gives her smiles and stares, letting us know she recognizes her. Maya's funny faces and gestures brings so much happiness and laughter in to our home. She is so soft and oh so cuddly!
