This past July 4
th weekend was probably one of
the funnest weekends we’ve had in San Antonio in a while. We spend Friday the 3
rd
of July at Medina Lake. We enjoyed the warm, perfect weather while lounging in
the lake. It was so cute to see Melany and Maya in their little floaties. On July 4
th, we woke up to attend
the nearby Castroville parade and later joined our friends at their house for a BBQ, where
Melany tried s'mores and grabbed a little star for the first time. We watched
several fireworks as a family and it was so neat to see the sky light up. We
were surprised Maya didn’t cry or act scared at all. We were so tired when we
got home but happy for all the festivities.
