Texas Sandfest+ beach fun

Today we headed to the Texas Sandfest in Corpus Christi to see the fascinating sand sculptures at Port Aransas. This is one of the largest beach festivals in Texas. Interestingly, Port Aransas is the only established town on Mustang Island and is located north of Padre Island. It is on the Corpus Christi Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico.

We had a blast at the beach enjoying the cool ocean breeze. I was born on a house by the beach, grew up by the beach all my life and to not have it near me anymore has been sad. So hence, we were elated to see the ocean and play with the sand and the warm water. The weather was perfect, sure we got sunburned, but it was so worth it! The sand sculptures were so unique! We will definitely be back to Corpus Christi since it is only a 2.5 hour car rideJ

Never mind Melany, we had a great time!
