Good old Melany was eating popcorn and decided it would be a good idea to put a popcorn kernel up her nose! Really? Well at the time we were freaking out because we couldn't get it out and her nostril started bleeding a little. What a way to explore the city! We rushed to the ER because she couldn't be seen at the urgent care. The hospital was nearby, but waited about an hour and a half to get a procedure done that lasted less than 1 minute!It was a little invasive, but caused not much pain to Melany.
Poor baby! She sure loved to explore and is very active. She loves to bolt, and run as if she were in a race. She doesn't stop! She loves Dora the Explorer, Minnie Mouse and drawing with a pen. She is very bright and continues to enjoy to be read at. She knows the tunes to several church songs, and is very good at praying with us before we eat.
I have to admit though, I will never see a popcorn kernel the same way. We love you Melany, thank you for making life for us a treat, never dull and always interesting!

Can't believe how big she is getting already. She looks so much like you (Sonia) in the picture where she's eating the popcicle. Glad you are happy and enjoying your little girl.
