Maya's 2nd Birthday Party

We threw Maya a small birthday party on Sunday, August 28, the actual day of her birthday. I made some dinner and we ordered a cake and cookies from a lady in our ward who makes wonderful desserts. Maya's room is decorated with a Mermaid theme so I thought it would be fitting to use that as a party theme. I had fun making the Mermaid wands for the girls, which were a hit! Maya had a blast and I loved seeing her sweet smile when we all sang to her. She has gone through so many medical issues in these past two years and has shown us how resilient she is.
Maya is such a funny, independent, sweet, adventurous little with so much energy and love to give. She melts our hearts with that adorable smile!
